With a growing family that required more space, a full demo and reconfigure was in order.  The existing great room space was moved back, capturing unused storage and ski rooms.  A new stairway leads to a lovely loft sleeping space with a full bathroom.  Open to below but easily closed to a private space with velvet lined drapery, it has become everyone's favorite place to sleep.  The overly large second master was changed into a generous king bedroom and bath plus a fantastic television and sitting room that doubles as a guest room, including a full bathroom.  

All the best products and details. From embossed leather walls in the powder room, hand crafted furniture from France, Hermes fabrics in the master bedroom, and topped off with flannel covered walls & ceilings in the great room for visual warmth and comfort.

The client’s term was "layering".  We would call it understated luxury at its finest.
